What's the matter? Afraid You Might Like it~?
Nancy Nouveau
Not bad on his feet… Maybe he really was a politician, huh? Certainly spared her own ordeal of likely falling victim to the snort laugh when the man of the hour seemed to smoothly avoid her suggestion and flee from the building, Nancy lifted her hand to her mouth as she quietly released at least a little of giggles into her palm in as stifled a manner as she could, and then turned towards the pair of bemused workers with the intent of patching up the damage she had caused for the time being.
“Apologies gentlemen, seems we walked into the wrong building…” Bucking forward into a little bow and covering for her mistake with something which was surprisingly honest, it was entirely true that they had indeed found themselves in an incorrect locale, though she opted to omit the fact that this was largely by her own plan of course.
“Yikes, I can't leave you alone for a moment, huh~?” Heading from the armpit of the Soul King or perhaps parts even worse than that to find out what had happened when her new friend had skittered away from the building, the blonde belle hummed as she followed the scent of her friend and found him apparently getting rather friendly with half a detachment of Shinigami, or perhaps more accurately the blades they carried, and as such felt a need to intervene.
“I'll have to ask you gentlemen to lower your weapons. This man has diplomatic immunity~?” Perhaps had it been another then Miss Nouveau might have left him to his fate but in this case even a buffoon seeming to have rubbed off just a little upon her with his ridiculousness, besides that she felt a personal affront in seeing so many of those pathetic do gooders swamping one of her own due to some strange feeling of kinship toward her kind, and as such opted to put that silvery tongue of hers to good use in order to protect her jester.
“Don't believe me? Well, you can file a complaint with the Central 46, or, no. Maybe try the Soul King?” Guessing that they would both need all the Sonido they had in their system if she called upon her blade or even fired off a Cero or two, instead she relied upon the fact that experience had told her that the folk who patrolled the Seireitie were even duller in their imagination than her discomforted guest, and as such she could readily throw around threats and the like with the right name in order to intimidate them.
“I mean if you're willing to intrude upon his hospitality, it's only fair he knows about it, no~?” Certainly not carrying the sway of the monarch who ruled this realm or even the governors who tended to state but at least enough of a peculiarity that the rumour about her presence was much better known than the fact, Nancy didn't mind trading on the ignorance of the boots on the ground or the gossip about how she was some kind of concubine for some bigwig in the place to bully these bladesmen, and hopefully send them barking up another tree. After all, bro's before hoe's, right?
