Saturday at eight AM on the dot and Kin was standing outside of the main entrance to the shrine that was beside of her house. This was no hour for a young woman to be up on a Saturday morning when there was no need to be in the school, but here she was and glowing like a beacon. The skies were slightly cloudy, and the sun was shining through as if it was trying to beat her excited flames in their radiance.
Today was the day Millie started her training and Kin was going to be here every step of the way… showing her how to work the shop and handle all sorts of customers… both living and dead. Then the practicing to help her tame her ability so she could use it to protect her self against all sorts of baddies.
The thought of having a friend student and being an assistant to Shinobou as she taught Millie made a grand smile form on Kin’s face and the deep yellow flame that shimmered around her skin only deepened to an almost golden colour. “Today is going to be so damn fun!” School had been cancelled since she had… blown all of the windows up and it was going to be for at least a week as the building was repaired and cleaned up. So the pair were going to have a little free time to get this whole thing going.
