Trait Description:
Added / Upgraded Aspects
Aspect Name: Groove it to the Music
Skill: Lucha
Attribute Description: There's a rhythm to all things, advanced martial arts is often described as like a dance and Rabirria takes that very seriously. There's a rhythm to any fight, both fighters settling into a comfortable tempo, the strikes, dodges and parries the notes. Rabirria is particularly adept at identifying this rhythm and working within it. It gives her a particular sense for when an attack is coming, if not where it's coming or what form, making her a particularly defensive powerhouse.

In addition to techniques, I am also applying to change Rabirria's fighting style
Fighting Style: The Immortal Jester
Description: Rabirria's fighting style is an oddity, and many don't take it as much of a fighting style at all. While it has some conventional strikes like various forms of kick or punch most of her movements are highly unorthodox. She'll throw herself around the environment at the slightest touch, send herself hurtling straight towards an opponent like a battling ram and even seem to start dancing right in the middle of a fight. However, a keen and discerning eye would be able to tell that while there's a lot of wasted movement, it's on purpose. There's a surprising amount of skill and purpose behind every movement even if it's just to try and bait an opponent or make them think she just effortlessly stopped their best attack (when in reality she nearly died). A lot of her direct attacks can seem like it's an accident, or look cartoonish, her Lucha mixing with her unusual Sonido to let her perform very strange strikes from very strange positions ignoring conventional rules about how to move the body to give a strike proper force. Another thing of note is that she almost never draws her zanpakutou, she might use it as a club, throw it at an opponent or throw it away, but drawing it is exceptionally rare.
Technique Description: When one is really in tune with the rhythm of a fight, matching an opponent's tempo, there are opportunities that open up to someone really keen on that aspect. For Rabirria it's the Rhythm Break, coming in several forms it's an attempt to break the rhythm, to disrupt that natural tempo and in so doing leave the opponent completely unprepared for a coming, potentially decisive, blow. Rhythm Break "Skip" involves skipping a beat, in simple terms it can be described as a feint. For a simple example, "Skip" could be Rabirria throwing a hard punch towards her opponent, only for the fist to suddenly halt. She 'skips' a beat, literally stopping dead in her tracks before suddenly going in on a hard attack, often boosted with Sonido. It could be actually throwing that fist forwards after the 'skip' or pivoting into a hard kick or tackle, but it's rarely well telegraphed.
Technique Name: Rhythm Break "Crash"
Technique Description: Another of the Rhythm Break techniques. Rhythm Break "Crash" involves smashing through the opponent's 'notes' relying on sheer defense to attack 'out of turn'. It's a reckless and dangerous move relying on her hierro to minimize damage or capitalizing on what she perceives as a fairly weak attack, it's often a direct and aggressive smash like ramming her body into the opponent's, 'crashing' right through their own attack, pushing through spirit based attacks or swatting blades aside. It relies on force and speed above all.
Technique Name: Rhythm Break "No Beat"
Technique Description: The most technically difficult of the Rhythm Break techniques. "No Beat" involves a precise attack delivered 'between' beats, with an intense focus on speed the point is to attack with such speed and precision that it has no actual place in the rhythm, completely breaking it. An attack with 'no beat' that the opponent will have a difficult time reacting to. It tends to look the most like an actual combat technique, with a common use being something similar to a one-inch punch, where even with someone of equal or greater speed, the short distance covered helps compensate.
Technique Name: Rhythm Break "Draw"
Technique Description: Rabirria rarely draws her zanpakutou, and for a few reasons. One of them being that she firmly believes you shouldn't draw steel if you're not ready to kill. To that end, Rhythm Break "Draw" is the most outright lethal of the Rhythm Break techniques. While all the others could do serious damage, there are few ways to make drawing a sharp sword and aiming to cleave straight into a foe 'non-lethal'. Rhythm is more than just the notes, it's also the instruments, and like a gong crashing in to disrupt a song, 'Draw' sees Rabirria draw her sword and strike in one smooth, lightning fast motion, a complete break in the rhythm and flow.
